Analytics overview
Your account's analytics information is now also available via the Vimeo Android mobile app. The app provides an overview of your video's performance for the past 30 days, with a breakdown of 'Views', 'Impressions', 'View Rate', 'Likes', and 'Views by URL'.
You can view this Analytics section on your Android mobile app by tapping the 'Analytics' tab on the bottom menu of your screen. Once in the Analytics section, you can view the report by scrolling down on your Android mobile device.
Video-specific Analytics
To view the analytics for one of your videos, tap the [•••] menu next to the video you want to view and tap Analytics. Creators can see the video’s Views, Impressions, View rate, Vimeo Likes, and Views by URL for the past 30 days.
Publishing to Social
Creators can publish their videos to Facebook Pages or their YouTube accounts. To do so, tap the [•••] menu next to the video you want to publish, then tap Share > Publish to social, and select the platform where you want your video published.
Uploading and Trimming
Creators can upload videos from their device’s Camera Roll using the iOS app. To do so, tap the (+) icon in the navigation bar, select the video you want to upload, trim the video’s beginning or end if desired, tap Next or Skip, add a name or description, select the video’s privacy settings, and tap Upload.
For a quick and reliable upload, keep the app active and in the foreground while connected to Wi-Fi.
Recording
Creators can record video directly within the Vimeo app. To do so, tap the (+) icon in the navigation bar, tap the Record tab, hold your device horizontally or vertically as desired, and tap the Record button when ready. Tap the record button again when you’re finished.
WARNING: When recording with the app, upon completion your video is uploaded directly to Vimeo, the video will not be saved to your device. If your device has an unreliable internet connection, or if you want to be extra cautious in case anything happens during recording or uploading, we strongly recommend using the default camera app to record and save videos to your device first, then use the Vimeo app to upload.
Live Streaming
Vimeo Advanced, Vimeo Premium, and Vimeo Enterprise members can live stream directly from the app, no other equipment is required. Learn more about going live from your mobile device at 'Go live from your mobile device'.
Showcases
Creators can access their Showcases within the app by tapping Home on the navigation bar and scrolling down to Showcases. From there, users can view and edit existing Showcases, and create new Showcases.
Folder management
Creators can view their personal and team Folders by tapping Home on the navigation bar, then tapping View all next to Recent videos, or by clicking the Videos tab in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
Creators will also be able to create new folders as well as rename, share, or delete existing folders from their mobile Library.
Team management
Creators can also invite new team members and manage their teams from the Videos tab in the app. To do so, tap either the Home or Videos tab on the navigation bar, then click the downward arrow next to your name to open the team switcher. Here is where you can switch into another team, or tap Manage team to manage your team, such as adding new team members.
