If one of your collections is a Series, you can identify each video within it by assigning it an episode number. This will allow viewers on your site and branded apps (if you have them) to know at which point in the series order they are at.
How do I add an Episode Number to a Video in a Series?
⚠️ Note: Displaying episode numbers is currently not supported on Xbox and Tizen apps.
You can set an episode number for your video by navigating to Content > Videos, then select the video.
Under the General menu, navigate to the Media type section. When you select Episode from the menu, a new Episode number field will appear. You can input any number up from 0-999. Be sure to click Save in the upper right corner when you are finished configuring your video’s settings.
When you set an episode number for a video in your series, this will be visible on the video details page.
It is also visible on the series details page on your Vimeo OTT site (but not on branded apps). When you apply an episode number to any video in that series, the series details page will use episode numbers to determine the order your videos appear in on that page.
If you do not use any episode numbers, the series details page will instead reference the position number as seen on that season’s content page (Collections > your series > Content > select a season > Content).
