Whenever possible, we encourage users to resolve these disputes on their own. Vimeo is the host of your videos, not an independent adjudicator. Should you be able to resolve matters independently, it often leads to the most favorable outcome.
Generally, where several parties assert ownership over an account and fail to resolve the conflict independently, Vimeo will reinstate account access to the individual who initially created the account. For paid accounts, we may restore access to the person who paid for the account.
