Within the Vimeo app for SFMC, you can create thumbnails from your videos using the Thumbnail Partner Product. This tool can be accessed from the Vimeo App Homepage, Video Settings > Thumbnails, or from the Embed in Email flow. Read on for step-by-step instructions.
How to create a thumbnail in the Vimeo app for Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Once you select Create Thumbnail, a new tab will be opened for the Thumbnail Partner Product.
- You can play the video and select a frame to use as the Thumbnail.
- You will see a spinner icon quickly followed by a page that says “You have created a thumbnail”.
- You can choose to Create another Thumbnail or select Back to Salesforce. The latter will automatically close the tab and take you back to Salesforce Marketing Cloud where the thumbnail will now be available.
