Features on the Android app
You can view your feed, like videos, comment on videos, and find and follow other members, just like on the desktop site. You can also play from your Watch Later list, edit video Settings, and share videos via email and social networks.
For anything else (Groups, Channels, Portfolios, etc.), you'll need to visit the desktop version of Vimeo.
Watching videos on the app
To watch videos you've saved to your Watch Later queue or purchased via On Demand, tap the bookmark-shaped icon at the top of the screen. There, you'll be able to select "Watch Later" or "Purchases."
Tap "Me" in the navigation bar, tap "Upload" in the lower right-hand corner, select a video from your device’s Camera Roll, and tap "Upload." That’s it! You can then add a title and a description and tweak your privacy settings, or you can chill and edit those settings later.
There are many variables that can affect the amount of time it takes to upload a video, including the duration of the video, the visual complexity of the video, and planetary alignment. But as long as you connect your device to Wi-Fi to get your video online as soon as possible, our mobile app will take care of the rest. Once your video is uploaded, it’ll take a few moments for us to finish up and make your video look its best.
When viewing a feed of videos, tap the ellipsis and then tap "Share." You can share a link to the video via Facebook, Twitter, Email, SMS/messaging, and any other platform you have set up to share on your device. If you’re watching a video and want to share it, tap the "Share" icon to bring up that same menu.
Reporting a bug on the Android app
Bugs are a way of life when it comes to software development, but luckily we’re master exterminators. Open your favorite web browser, log in to your account, and write up a post in our Help Forum or email us via our contact form. Don’t forget to include information about what mobile device you're using, as well as any steps we can take to try and replicate the issue from our end.
