To log in to your Vimeo account, you need to use the email address associated with your account and a password. If you're having trouble, read on to learn how to resolve your issue.
You can change your email address in your Account Settings.
Click Edit next to your email address. In the window that pops up, enter the new address and your current password to confirm.
Once you do this, the new email address can be used to log in to your account and your previous address can no longer be used.
Can I have two Vimeo accounts with the same email address?
You cannot add an email address to your account that is already associated with another Vimeo account. If you want to use an email that is already registered to another account, you'll either need to delete the other account or change the email on that account first.
Users are no longer able to add secondary email addresses to their accounts.
In the past, Vimeo supported the ability for users to add multiple login emails to an account. This functionality allowed a single user to easily log in with multiple emails (such as a business email and a personal email) using a single password.
Basic/Plus accounts are no longer able to use secondary email addresses.
Pro accounts and higher will still see their secondary emails and be able to use them to log in for now; however, all secondary emails functionality for Pro and higher-tier members will also be phased out in the near future.
If you’ve been using a secondary email address to log in, we strongly recommend making sure your primary email address is the one you’re using to log in. Visit your Account Settings to check what your primary email address is, and make any necessary changes to make sure you can access your account in the future.
