Templates are video creatives pre-made for your use. You can replace the text and switch out the footage for your own, or simply use the template as is and share it on social media.
Basic and Plus users have access to select free templates. Pro members and higher have expanded access to templates.
To access the template library from your video manager, click Create a video on the dropdown menu, then you'll be redirected to the templates library. You can also click here.
Using the templates
1. If you're on a desktop browser, go to the Vimeo Create homepage, then click on Templates at the top left-hand side. If you're using the Vimeo Create mobile app, you'll be able to find the Templates tab on the bottom left-hand side.
2. You can browse the different categories in the templates library to choose the right template for you. You can also choose from guided templates.
3. Click on the template thumbnail, then click on Customize to customize the template.
4. You will then be redirected to the editor, to add/change the text, footage and perform any other desired action. You can also save the template as is.
The difference between templates and editing styles
Styles add special flair and effect to your videos with specific graphics and transitions. These are creative guidelines for the AI engine while creating and editing the video. Styles can be found when clicking on Create your own on the Vimeo Create homepage or through this link.
Templates are pre-made videos with specific messaging, that only require minor adjustments (or can be used as is) and can be immediately shared on your website or social media.
