Video ratings let viewers react to your videos with a thumbs up or thumbs down, giving you real-time feedback on what's resonating with your audience.
Turning on video ratings
To enable video ratings across your OTT site:
- In your OTT admin, go to Manage > Site > Content > Ratings.
- Toggle video ratings on.
- Save your changes.
Once enabled site-wide, ratings become available on your videos. Video ratings are available on plans that include the sentiment widgets feature. If you don't see the option, contact your Vimeo account manager.
Viewing your rating stats
- Per-video engagement — Open a video's analytics drawer and check the Engagement section for a quick summary of total votes, average rating, and the thumbs up / down breakdown.
