The Vimeo app is supported on all Apple devices capable of running iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and newer.
Install the Vimeo app for iOS
To install the Vimeo iOS app, search for “Vimeo” in the App Store, or visit 'Vimeo on the App Store'.
Please note:
- Uploading and live streaming from the app will require access to your device’s Photos, Microphone, and Camera. Push notification access is also required if you want alerts for new activity on Vimeo.
- Dark Mode is toggled automatically according to your device’s preferences. Learn more about Dark Mode from Apple Support at Use Dark Mode on your iPhone and iPad.
- If your device connects to the internet through a VPN, proxy, or bonded internet connection, or if your device’s connection is routed through a content filtering service from your internet provider, the app may not be able to reliably connect to our servers. For a reliable experience, temporarily disable the service while using the Vimeo app.
Delete or reinstall the Vimeo iOS app
To delete the Vimeo iOS app, tap and hold the Vimeo app icon until a menu pops up, then select Delete app.
To reinstall the app, search for “Vimeo” in the App Store, or visit the Vimeo App listing at Vimeo on the App Store.
Vimeo app languages
The Vimeo app is currently localized and translated into English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. The app will detect your device’s default language and will use one of these languages, it is not possible to manually select a preferred language within the app. If your preferred language is not available, the app will default to English.
