Watch and Search
'Your Feed', 'Staff Picks', and 'On Demand Purchases' videos are all accessible from the Watch tab of the app. To access videos added to the 'Watch Later' queue, go to your profile icon and select the Watch Later option from the menu.
Users and videos public on vimeo.com can be searched for and played using the app. If you have access to another user’s password-protected or unlisted video, it can be played in the app when opened from a link on the web or when the video is saved to your Watch Later queue.
Offline playlist
Spending time on the subway, on an airplane, or somewhere with limited internet access? You can save videos to an offline playlist and watch those videos when no internet connection is available. Any video that can be played back in the app can be saved to the offline playlist.
To save a video to your offline playlist, tap the icon while the video is playing, or select Add to offline playlist from the [•••] menu.
To access the offline playlist with a single tap, go to your profile and select the "Offline" option from the menu. Videos saved to the offline playlist can only be played within the Vimeo app and cannot be exported or played in other apps.
Content viewing preferences
The Vimeo app will respect your content viewing preferences when you are logged into your account. If you have set your preferences to hide certain content, those videos will be omitted from parts of the app, or displayed with a generic thumbnail; this includes videos on your account.
To update your content viewing preferences within the app, tap your profile picture at the top corner of the app, then tap Account settings > Viewing preferences.
If you use the app without logging into an account, only content rated “All Audiences” will appear. Unrated content and videos marked “Mature” will be omitted or will display a generic thumbnail.
360/VR video playback

The Vimeo iOS app supports playback of videos uploaded in Dolby Vision, provided that you are using the following devices:
- iPhone 8 and above
- iPad Pro 2nd generation and above

Live event playback and chat
Viewers can watch your live event on Vimeo and participate in the chat.
