The Create app for Android and iOS offers the same tools that are available on the web version of Create. iOS users can also access these features on the Vimeo iOS app.
You can create a quick video from your footage, edit existing templates, or create your own video from scratch.
You can access the Create app with your Vimeo account credentials (or after creating a Vimeo account).
How many Create videos can I publish?
The number of videos that can be published is based on your Vimeo membership. Not sure which plan type you have? Check “Membership” in your account settings.
💡Tip: The term “cap” refers to all videos uploaded to Vimeo, not just videos through Create.
- Free: 2 videos per month with an annual cap of 25 videos.
-
Starter:
- Monthly plan: 5 videos per seat per month with an annual cap of 60 videos.
- Annual plan: 60 videos per seat per year.
- Standard: 10 videos per month with an annual cap of 120 videos.
-
Advanced: 500 videos per seat per year.
- ⚠️Note: Existing users on the Advanced plan will see that they still have availability of 20 videos per month with an annual cap of 240 videos. We are working to increase the video cap to 500 for existing users.
⚠️Note: Creators with a Basic membership can create up to 10 videos maximum with a 30-second duration limit per video. Videos created with Free and Basic accounts will include a Vimeo watermark.
Integration with Social Media:
Publishing to Social
After creating your video in the Create app, you can publish directly to your social media channels.
We currently do not support publishing to Instagram through our publish to social tool. When you share to Instagram through the app, your video will be downloaded to your device and shared directly to Instagram. This means we will not be able to collect any statistics through Instagram.
Analytics
Social analytics are available for paid plans only. Social analytics are collected through the API for the specific social platform.
The video data from that platform will be synced into your Vimeo account and viewable through the Create app in the Video Options menu.
On platforms where posts can be re-shared (i.e. Facebook), we can only collect the data from the original post. You will notice that Facebook separates views from the original post and from shared posts.
