Read an important update about the Create App for Android/iOS at About Vimeo discontinuing Create mobile apps
The Create app for Android and iOS offers the same tools that are available on the web version of Create. iOS users can also access these features on the Vimeo iOS app.
You can create a video by editing an existing template or by making one from scratch.
You can access the Create app with your Vimeo account credentials (or after creating a Vimeo account).
How many Create videos can I publish?
The number of videos that can be published is determined by your Vimeo membership level. Are you unsure which plan type you have? Check “Membership” in your account settings.
💡Tip: The term “cap” refers to all videos uploaded to Vimeo, not just videos through Create.
-
Free: 3 videos.
- If you created your Vimeo account before November 7, 2023, a free account limits you to 2 videos per month with an annual cap of 25 videos.
- Starter: 60 videos
- Standard: 120 videos.
- Advanced: 500 videos
⚠️Note: Creators with a Basic membership can create up to 10 videos, with a maximum duration of 120 minutes per video. Videos created with Free and Basic accounts will include a Vimeo watermark.
Integration with Social Media:
Publishing to Social
After creating your video in the Create app, you can publish it directly to your social media channels.
We currently do not support publishing to Instagram through our publish to social tool. When you share a video to Instagram through the app, it will be downloaded to your device and shared directly on Instagram. This means we will not be able to collect any statistics through Instagram.
Analytics
Social analytics are available only for paid plans. Social analytics are collected through the API for the specific social platform.
The video data from that platform will be synced into your Vimeo account and will be viewable through the Create app in the Video Options menu.
On platforms where posts can be re-shared (i.e. Facebook), we can only collect the data from the original post. You will notice that Facebook separates views from the original post and shared posts.
Support
If you face any issues while using the Create app, reach out to our Support team via our contact form. Please include information about the mobile device you're using, any applicable screenshots and details, as well as the troubleshooting steps you've taken so far.
