You received an email notification from us if a video you manage or own has been found to contain a match for content owned by a third party.
To ensure that your content remains sharable on our platform, please take action as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of receiving the email.
Visit our Rights Management Center and take the following steps:
- If you are not authorized to use this content, you can do any of the following:
- replace your video with content you own or are authorized to use;
- swap the content in your video using Vimeo’s editing tools and royalty-free content (you can read about how to do this here);
- delete the audio in your video; or
- delete your video.
- If you are authorized to use this content, you may request we review your case and provide documentation to support your claim. Only do this if you:
- own all the content;
- have explicit permission from the rights owner; or
- you’re otherwise legally allowed to use the content.
