There are some settings in Windows to help optimize Studio's performance when activating hardware encoding.
This does not apply to macOS systems.
Go to the Start Menu and navigate to Power Options. (This can also be found within the Control Panel.)
Click the dropdown arrow next to Show additional plans.
High performance will appear as an option. Click the corresponding radio button to select it. After doing so, click Change plan settings.
Under Turn off the display, select Never.
Under Put the computer to sleep, select Never.
Click Save changes.
