Overview of application platform developer accounts for Vimeo OTT branded apps

This feature is available as an add-on with an Enterprise plan on Vimeo OTT. Contact your account manager if you would like access to this feature. 

The Vimeo team will need access to various application platform developer accounts, which will be registered, initially configured, and owned by you and your team. This article gives a general overview of the purpose of these developer accounts.

What are application platform developer accounts?

These developer accounts will be where your branded applications are launched and maintained through the duration of your Vimeo Agreement. 

Your applications will be published under your developer account name and, if your service includes in-application subscriptions or transactional product purchasing, allows for payouts to be sent directly to the bank information on file.

You should only create application platform developer accounts for the applications you have purchased within your current agreement.

Contact your Implementation Manager if you encounter any issues while registering and configuring your application platform developer accounts. While Vimeo cannot create the developer accounts for you or update certain configurations on your behalf, we can always provide our expertise. 

Once all steps are complete, our team will be able to publish your applications on your behalf within your developer accounts.
