What to know before transferring videos
Before requesting a transfer, please take note of the following limitations and requirements:
- For Enterprise users: This process described in this article applies to Vimeo self-serve plans. If you are migrating one or more Vimeo self-serve accounts to an Enterprise account, you will work with our Implementation team.

We require both the profile URLs and the login email addresses tied to your account to complete the Transfer Agreement.
- For security purposes, we will CC the email addresses for both accounts on our correspondence with you after receiving your support ticket.

The following are not transferable between accounts:
- Analytics: Your videos will lose their existing Analytics and will start from scratch in the new account.
- Collections: We cannot move collections between accounts (Channels, Groups, Showcases, Folders, etc.), nor can we transfer videos between collections.
- Purchases: We cannot transfer purchases (paid memberships, AI Credits, or VODs) between accounts.
- Review pages: Your review page URLs will change and include the username of the account where your videos are being transferred.
- VOD (Vimeo On Demand): If the videos you want to transfer are active VOD titles, you must unpublish and delete the container page where people can buy and watch your VODs before we transfer the videos. If you wish to continue selling the videos, you will need to create a new VOD page after they are transferred.
- Live events: We cannot transfer live events or settings for live events between accounts.
How to transfer videos between accounts
We can transfer videos from one account to another with proper verification. To initiate the transfer, copy and paste the agreement below into the body of a Support ticket and fill in the applicable information as follows:
