How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password at this link: Forgot your password? - note that this link does not work if you are logged into a Vimeo account.
Enter the email address you used to sign up for Vimeo and wait a few minutes for the password reset email to be delivered. Clicking the link in that email will allow you to choose a new password for your account.
I'm not receiving the password reset email.
If you're not seeing the password reset email after a few minutes, be sure to check your spam folder. Please contact us for assistance if you are still not seeing it.
The password reset email is not working.
If you requested a password reset more than once, make sure you’re only clicking on the most recent password reset email. If you are still having trouble resetting your password after this process, please contact us for assistance.
I no longer have access to the email associated with my Vimeo account.
If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create the account, you'll need to contact us by filling out this form and then clicking the Reset Password isn’t working link on the second page. Note that this form link does not work if you are logged into a Vimeo account.
On the contact form, please provide us with as much information as possible to prove that you are the true owner of the account.

If you have attempted to log into Vimeo too many times with an incorrect password, your account will be temporarily locked. You will be able to reset your password or try again later after the temporary block on your account has been lifted. If you need further login assistance, please contact us.
What information should I provide to help locate my account?
Locate your account with a charge on your card
If you have a charge on your card from Vimeo, we can use the information from the charge to help find your account. We’ll need the exact amount charged, the date, and the last four digits of the card in question. Never provide your full credit card number in an email.
For Google Play purchases: Go to Google Pay and log in, and then go to the Activity page. The transaction ID should look like this: GPA.1234-5678-1234-56789.
You can send this information to us through the Contact Form, selecting Billing and Membership from the drop-down menu, and then “Unknown Charge/Account Lookup.”
Locate your account with a link to a video
If you have a link to a video that you’re sure is from your account, we can locate your account with this information. Please provide the link to us using this form (note that this link does not work if you are logged into a Vimeo account).
⚠️Note: We are unable to locate an account for you by using a first/last name, a company name, or a domain from an email address without the exact user name (for example @vimeo.com).
How do I find my Vimeo account's email address if I signed up via a third party?
If you created your Vimeo account using a third-party service like Google, Facebook, or Apple, fill out this form to reach out to our Support team, and provide the email address used to log into that third-party service.
If you used the Apple Sign-In feature “Hide my email”, be aware that we only have a randomized email address saved on our end. My account has been deactivated.
If you attempt to log into your account and see a message saying it has been deactivated, it might be that your account has violated Vimeo's Terms of Service and/or Vimeo Guidelines. Search your inbox for a notification email from Vimeo, which would include the reason why your account may have been terminated.
