To create an account on Vimeo:
- Go to vimeo.com, then click Get started in the upper right corner.
- Enter your name, email, and create a password.
- Click Join with email.
- This creation method is preferred to ensure you maintain access to your account outside of any social media account credentials and enables you to immediately take any actions needed that require a Vimeo account password (such as deleting a video).
- You can also select Join with Google to create and log into a Vimeo account via an existing Google account; follow the on-screen prompts to complete sign-up. However, after you do so, you should update your Vimeo password to perform specific actions that will require a password later. This will also ensure you can maintain access to Vimeo even if you lose access to your third-party account.
