This article discusses how to disable and enable downloads of video within purchase products.
By default, the videos you add to a Buy or Rent product are not enabled for download. If you wish to enable this option, follow these steps:
- Edit the Buy or Rent Product you wish to update
- Navigate to the Content tab of the Product settings
- Click the Enable Downloads checkbox to allow your Customers to download the video to their devices. Keep the box unchecked if you want the video to remain streaming only.
- Save your changes.
If Extras are included in your Buy or Rent product, the ability to disable downloads will be unavailable. Extras will always have their downloads enabled for your Customers.
