To create an affiliate campaign link

1. Manually create (type out) campaign links for each of your affiliate partners like this: https://YOURSITE.vhx.tv/buy?campaign=affiliate1name 
    
   ⚠️Note: If you are using a custom domain, use that domain instead of the vhx.tv URL (e.g. https://mycoolsite.com/buy?campaign=affiliate1name) otherwise the affiliates will not be tracked.
    
   
   • “affiliate1name” & “affiliate2name” in the URLs can be edited to whatever you like; we recommend that they match your affiliate name or organization. The code "?campaign=affiliate1name" can be appended to any Vimeo OTT site/product URL like this:
     • Homepage of your Vimeo OTT site: 

       • https://yoursite.vhx.tv/?campaign=affiliate2name
         				

     • Directly to the main checkout page of your Vimeo OTT site: 

       • https://yoursite.vhx.tv/buy?campaign=affiliate2name
         				

     • Individual product checkout URLs (which you can get on your Products page): 

       • https://yoursite.vhx.tv/buy/product1?campaign=affiliate2name
         				

   • These links get tracked on your Vimeo OTT project Customers CSV when a sale/subscription occurs.
     • ⚠️Note: Sending a ?campaign= link to any page on your OTT site will pick up that value, store it in a cookie, and persist it across the experience. This way, when a viewer clicks a campaign link and then navigates to your checkout page, the campaign will be stored with that transaction. These links get tracked on your Vimeo OTT project Customers CSV when a sale/subscription occurs. 
2. Then, have your chosen partner affiliates share those links on the web to get sales for your content.

To manually track affiliates using the campaign tag

1. When you get paid each month from Vimeo OTT, you can download the Customers CSV to see if any of your customers came in as a result of your affiliates, so you can easily determine how much to pay each. There is a special column in the CSV labeled “campaign”.
   • Note: Check the 'status' column to ensure the user is still subscribed to your service.
2. You can then pay those partner affiliates however you would like to on your end (check, money transfer service, etc.) The amount you pay them is up to the percentage agreement you have set up with them.
