On rare occasions, servers will be blocked from accessing vimeo.com resources. When this happens, we return the following messages:
- An HTTP 403 error
- error_code :“3500”
- developer_message: “You have been banned. Contact vimeo support for more information.”
- An x-banned-ip header with the exact IP address banned in our system
- A W4A0F6 error for users whose IP addresses are temporarily blocked.
If this happens to you, please contact Support and provide the following details:
- A screenshot of the "Your access has been blocked for network security reasons" screen with the error message.
- The exact request you’re making to the API (if you have this information)
- The exact IP address returned in the response’s x-banned-ip header (if you have this information)
