You can access the Vimeo App right within CloudPages as a custom content block titled Vimeo - For Web.
Drag and drop this custom content block into the CloudPage template where you want to embed a video asset. This will open up the app in the left-hand panel.
You will see the following:
- Vimeo Video Library with the ability to filter by folders, search or upload videos
- Abridged Quick Actions to perform against the video assets including:
- Trim Video: allows you to trim the video by launching our Trim Partner Product
- View Video: allows you to access the manage video page on Vimeo for the video asset if you have edit access, or the view page if you do not have edit access to the video.
- Settings: this will pull up the Basic settings of the video to manage such as the title, description, privacy setting etc. There is also a tab for the Embed for Web settings.
Upon hovering over a video, you will also see an option to Embed which will add the video to the content block and open up the Embed for Web settings for the video for you to manage.
Videos that have the Privacy setting Private will be flagged as end users will not be able to watch these videos.
⚠️Note: While the Vimeo video is embedded, it will not appear as a Vimeo player in the SFMC backend or preview pages. The embedded player will appear on the published page only.
