You can customize your showcases to reflect the identity of your brand, project, or presentation. This article will cover what types of settings are available and how to customize your showcase’s appearance. To edit showcase privacy settings, see ‘How to manage the privacy of your showcase’.
⚠️Note: On team accounts, Contributors, Contributors+, Admins, and Owners can manage showcases.

How to access showcase settings
Once you’ve created your showcase, you will see a panel on the left side of the showcase settings page with two sections: Settings and Appearance.
Within Settings, you can edit the following:

How to customize showcase appearance
In the Appearance panel, your available options are based on the layout you choose. For example, the option to show or hide Vimeo’s app navigation only applies to the Featured content layout.
Within Appearance, the following options are available:

- Choose a primary color
- Show or hide Vimeo’s logo (available for Player view)
- Upload a custom logo

Header (Featured content view only)

- Show or hide Vimeo’s navigation
- Featured content: Enable this toggle to feature a specific image or video in the showcase banner. Disabling this toggle will create a banner with only the showcase title and description, a behavior similar to the previous Default layout.
- Detail source: When a video or live event is featured, you can choose whether the banner displays the Showcase title and description or the Video title and description.
For example, if you feature a live event about 'Product Launch' in a showcase titled 'Company Events,' you can use this setting to have the banner display either 'Company Events' or 'Product Launch' as the main title.

- Video cards: Choose between displaying Thumbnail images or a playable Player on your video cards. This option allows you to recreate the experience of the previous Default layout, where player thumbnails were the default.

How to preview my showcase
To preview your showcase customizations, follow these steps:
- Once you have opened your showcase from the library, select the Appearance button at the left of the page.
- You will see a banner at the top of the page with options to switch between web and mobile views.
- Select the mobile icon to see the mobile view within the showcase settings page.

To open a full webpage preview of your showcase in a tab, select the outlink icon at the top-right of the page.
How to customize the featured content of my showcase
By default, the featured content of a showcase will consist of the showcase title and description. You can choose to feature an image or a specific video instead by following these steps:
- Select Appearance in the left panel.
- Enable the Featured content toggle in the header section.
- A modal will appear, giving you two options:
Select from video: Choose a video or live event from your showcase to feature.
Upload image: Set an image as the featured content. - Once a video or image is featured, you can choose if you want the banner to display the showcase title and description or the featured video’s title and description. You can change this using the Detail source toggle under the Header section
- Select Save.
If you want to update the thumbnail of the featured video, you can do so on the video settings page.
