This article explains how to effectively utilize the Date report in the Advanced Analytics dashboard on Vimeo to analyze video performance metrics within specific time frames. The date report is available within the Advanced Analytics dashboard.
For Enterprise accounts with Workspaces: Analytics are also available for both the Organization and its Workspaces. Organizations can view combined analytics from all Workspaces.
To access the date report:
- Log in to your Vimeo account and open the Advanced Analytics dashboard.
- Select Date from the dashboard menu on the left side of the page to see a graph that will show you the overall views of your videos for each date within the selected time frame.

The graph will display your impressions, views, finishes, and average percentage watched according to the specified date or range of dates from the filters.
- Choose an option from the dropdown menu above the graph. It will show your impressions, finishes, downloads, unique viewers, unique impressions, avg. % watched, avg. time watched, or total time watched, per the given date or range of dates you’ve specified from the filters.
- You may also filter your data by timeframe using the dropdown menu at the top right of the graph.
- Under the graph is a table version of your data, sorted by date. You can use the Choose secondary dimension dropdown menu at the top of the table to add another dimension to the date report. You will see the following options: video, device, region, source URL, or streaming type.
- Select the Export data button at the top right of the table to export the video analytics as a CSV file.
- The report will be emailed to you once it is ready.
