When working on a new video in the video creation and editing tool,Vimeo automatically saves any changes that you make to the video.
If you leave the editor while in the middle of working on a video (ex: you accidentally closed the browser or ), when you return, a prompt window will appear showing the option to recover the work from your last session and continue where you left off.
Select Recover to restore your auto-saved session or Discard to discard those changes.
⚠️Note: Auto-save tracks changes made to a video per device. For example, if you are working on a video in the editor on your desktop or laptop, you will be able to continue your work on the save device. You would not be able to recover your changes if you opened the editor on another desktop, laptop, or mobile device. To work on the same video on another device, you must Save the video.
What if elements in my video do not re-render after auto-save recovers my work?
If an element in your video does not re-render (ex: a video, a photo, text, etc,) after auto-save recovers your project, please re-add the element to your video.
