This feature is only available as an add-on with an Enterprise plan. If you would like to enable extended streaming, please contact your account manager or our sales team.
With extended streaming, you can use an encoder to stream an event 24/7, or for as long as you wish. To see answers to frequently asked questions about this feature, see FAQ: Extended streaming mode.
- After you have created your live event, select the gear icon in the upper righthand corner of the event settings page.
- Open the Production dropdown menu.
- Toggle off Record event and DVR in order to activate the Extended stream toggle. These options are not available for extended streaming.
- Toggle on Extended stream.
- Once you go live, your stream will remain active until you choose to end it manually.
⚠️Note: Extended streams will not be recorded, meaning your stream will not be archived or saved in your library. When recording is disabled for a recurring event, none of your future streams will be archived.
