This article discusses how users with a paid Vimeo plan can utilize AI to create customized teleprompter scripts in the Record Studio. To do so:
- Select the Teleprompter button from the input control toolbar in the Record Studio to open the Teleprompter window.
- Select the AI Sparkles button in the lower-right corner of the teleprompter window.
- The AI panel will expand. You can select from pre-generated examples such as a product testimonial or training on a new feature. You can also type what you would like to AI to write a script about in the textbox.

You can further customize your script by choosing the Duration—short, medium, or long—and selecting the Tone, such as Confident, Funny, Direct, Inspiring, Casual, or Formal.
- After selecting the duration and tone of your script, select the Generate button to use AI to generate the script.
- After your script is generated, you can choose to make the script longer, shorter, or try again with a new script.
- You can also make edits manually in the textbox.
- When you are happy with your script, select the X button in the top-right corner of the teleprompter window. Begin recording your video to run the teleprompter.
⚠️Note: You cannot share your screen while using the teleprompter, as the teleprompter will appear in your final video.
