Full access to three (3) licenses of Livestream Studio is available with a Vimeo Enterprise account. Advanced and Premium users have access to one (1) license.
Download Livestream Studio on your computer.
Follow the on-screen steps to install the software, after which it will automatically launch.
Studio will prompt you to log into either a Livestream or Vimeo account. As of January 30, Livestream is no longer supported. If you do not have a Vimeo account, you can sign up by selecting Vimeo at the bottom of the prompt.
Once your account is created and subscribed to Vimeo, you may then log into Studio using your account credentials. Studio will indicate that your full access has been unlocked.
A few things to note:
- Because Studio needs to authenticate your login, you will need an internet connection to access the software. If you lose your internet connection, you can continue to use Studio in offline mode for up to 7 days before being required to reconnect your account.
-
If you exceed your Studio license limit (i.e. try to run more Studio instances simultaneously than your subscription allows), you will get a warning message every five minutes within Studio to close other instances. Not following your Studio license limit may lead to account suspension.
- While Livestream Studio has the ability to stream to various providers, a paid Livestream account does not allow you to stream to Vimeo, and a Vimeo account does not include the ability to stream to Livestream.
If you have a legacy USB Dongle and want to use your subscription to access Studio instead, close Studio, then disconnect your dongle. After disconnecting the dongle, re-launch Studio and you will see the prompt to log in.
