How to navigate the transcript panel
Learn more about using interactive features within the transcript panel below:
- Select the Transcript button on the player to view the entire video transcript in a panel to the right of the video player. If you don’t see this option, the video does not contain a transcript.
- As the video plays, the transcript highlights the words being spoken and scrolls automatically so that you can read along.
- You can click through the transcript to jump to specific timestamps within the video.
- Select the magnifying glass icon to search for specific words and find relevant sections within the video.
- If you scroll away from the currently playing section in the transcript, the Return to current time button will appear to bring you back to the current point in the video.
How to customize transcript settings
Transcript language
- You can change the language of the transcript if multiple languages are available. Select the settings menu at the top-right of the transcript menu to find additional languages.
Display timestamps
- From the settings menu, you can also choose to show or hide timestamps next to the transcript.
