What to know before labeling videos as AI-generated or AI-enhanced
- To strike a balance between creators' innovative use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and viewers' demand for transparency regarding the authenticity of the content they consume, we require creators to disclose when realistic videos are created with altered or synthetic media, including generative AI.
- Visit Disclosing videos as AI-generated or AI-enhanced to read more about our policy.
- Labeling a video containing AI-generated content won't lower a video's rating.
- The indicator for AI-generated content appears under the player on the video page or in the embedded video player. This label does not display in embedded videos if the video creator hides the video title.

- Scroll past the player to the Content section.
- Select the checkbox next to Includes AI-generated content that appears real.
- Select the checkbox for Audio or Visuals, or both.
