About the Vimeo AI settings page

This feature requires an Advanced, Premium, or Enterprise plan.

Visit the Vimeo AI panel on your Team Settings page to manage how your team uses Vimeo AI to create content and control who has access to these features. This article provides an overview of each setting on the Vimeo AI settings page.

How to access Vimeo AI settings 

The Vimeo AI settings page is found on the team settings page. To do so: 

1. Visit the Team Settings page.
2. Select Vimeo AI from the left-hand toolbar. 

Updating Vimeo AI settings  

This section outlines the various settings and options available for managing AI-powered content generation and translation features within Vimeo.

General

This section controls general settings for AI-content generation.

• Custom vocabulary:
  • Select Manage to add unique words or phrases (such as a company or product name) that Vimeo AI can use when generating content.

Translations

This section controls settings for AI translations. 

• Toggle whether to allow team members to translate videos into other languages
• Translations proficiency filter: Toggle to automatically censor offensive words and phrases in AI-generated translations.
• Who can generate translations: Use this dropdown menu to select which team members can generate translations.

Video details

This section controls settings for AI generation for titles, descriptions, and tags for videos.

• Who can generate video details: Use this dropdown menu to select which team members can generate video details.

Ask AI

Enable this toggle to allow viewers of your videos to interact with Ask AI and ask specific questions about your videos.

Highlights (Enterprise) 

Enable this toggle to allow Vimeo AI to analyze your videos and select moments to generate highlights.

• Who can generate highlights: Use this dropdown menu to select which team members can generate highlights.

Scripts

Enable this toggle to allow Vimeo AI to generate scripts for use in recordings and live events.
