- Take the exported zip file and upload it to your chosen LMS system.
- In your LMS system, launch the newly uploaded video lesson.
- Watch the video and answer the interactive questions as they appear.
Example: Select the correct answers for the quiz questions within the video. - Once you have answered the questions and completed the video lesson, finish or exit the lesson.
The system will communicate your results back to the LMS, and you will receive a completion success status, along with the tracked quiz score.
What happens when a user interacts with the video?
When a user interacts with the video, the following events are tracked and communicated via SCORM to your LMS:
- Video Start/Finish: Confirmation of when the user begins and completes the content.
- Percentage Watched: The total viewing time recorded.
- Question Responses: Detailed records of the answers submitted by the learner.
- Assessment Scores: Includes final scores, custom scorecards, and any detailed feedback.
- Interactive Element Usage: Tracking of engagement with all interactive elements.
- Learning Outcome Progress: General progress against defined learning objectives.
Making the most of your interactive quiz
Your interactive video supports two main tracking methods, depending on your setup and privacy requirements, and captures several key events transmitted back to your LMS.
Tracking Methods

- Video Privacy Setting: Set the video privacy to Unlisted or Hide from Vimeo.
- Data Handling: No personal data is stored, ensuring the process is privacy-compliant.
- Tracking Detail: Provides basic progress tracking.
Authenticated Tracking (With Vimeo SSO)
