If you are on the video page, you will see the comments module below the video player or to the right, depending on your layout. If you are on the video settings page, select the Comments button in the upper right corner to open the comments panel. See 'How to manage comments on my video' for more about the video settings page.

How to post a comment
As a viewer, you can leave comments on any videos that have commenting enabled. As a video owner or team member, you can comment both on the video page and the video settings page.
Collaborators can also post comments via a Review page or Unlisted video link.
Here’s how to post a comment:
- Navigate to the commenting panel on the video page, video settings page, or Review page.
- If desired, you can start typing a collaborator’s name or email address after the ‘@’ symbol to @mention and notify them.
- You can also leave a video comment by including a Vimeo URL in your response.
- Enter your comment and then select Post.
How to edit a comment
You can edit your own comments on both the video page and the video settings page.
- Hover over a comment and select the options menu in the upper right-hand corner of your individual comment.
- Select Edit.
- Enter your edited comment in the new text box that appears.
- Select Save to post the edited comment.
How to delete a comment
As the video owner, you can delete any comments on your video. Additionally, any user can delete their own comments.
Follow these steps to delete a comment:
- Hover over a comment and select the options menu in the upper right-hand corner of the individual comment.
- Select Delete.
- You will be prompted to confirm your choice or cancel.
💡Tip: If comments on the video are disabled, the option to cancel may be missing. Temporarily enabling comments will allow for deletion.
How to reply to a comment
You can reply to a comment by selecting Reply in the lower lefthand corner of the comment.
How to copy a link to a comment
You can send a link to a comment so that when someone opens the URL, the specific comments will be highlighted on the video page.
- Open the options menu (•••) on any comment to see more options.
- Select Copy a link to save the URL to your clipboard.
- Now, are can send the link via a message, email, or social media.
