This feature requires an Advanced or Premium plan, or an Enterprise plan with the Events feature added.
On Advanced, Premium, and Enterprise accounts with Events features enabled, team Owners, Administrators, and Contributor Plus members can add live events to folders in the Team Library. This creates a more convenient way to create virtual events and share them with the relevant team members.

Move an event into a folder
-
After an event is created, select it from the Live Events folder by checking the box on the left-hand side of the event.
⚠️ Note: If your role is Contributor Plus, your live event will be created under 'My library' by default. You can move the event to another folder if you wish. - Click Add to video library above the event list.
💡Tip: You can add multiple events to a folder. - Choose the folder where you want the live event to be sent, then click Confirm.
⚠️ Note: You need to create the virtual event outside of this folder first.
Once a Live Event is added to a folder, it will inherit all of the folder's permissions. Everyone with access to the chosen folder on your team will be able to view the virtual event, regardless of the event's privacy settings.
For example, if a Live Event is password-protected and placed in a folder, there is no need for anyone on your team who has access to the folder to enter a password. Anyone who is not in that folder or on your team would still be required to enter the password.
Events that are only meant for team members with access to that folder should be set to "Private."
Go live to an event in a folder
To set up and go live with your event, instead of going to the Live Events folder, navigate to the folder within the library and click on the event. This will direct you to the event’s Live Settings folder, where you can configure and customize your event. You can then go live via the web-based production tool page or an external encoder. Read more at 'Overview: Create and go live to an event'.
You and the permitted team members can view your Live Event on the team account home page in the respective folder where you placed it.
When you end a live event, it will be archived in that same folder. You will see this reflected in the Library as well. All archived clips will inherit the permissions of their folder and retain the same settings and customizations as the Live Event.
⚠️ Note: Only scheduled events are displayed on the home page. To ensure your Live Event appears on the team home page, be sure to schedule a specific date or select repeating days on your event settings page.
Customize recipient view
When you click on the live event from here, viewers will be directed to the recipient view page, where the team can watch the event and access all its interactive features, including chat, Q&A, and polls, without outside distractions such as other recommended videos. Any customizations made under the event’s Embed settings will also apply to the player on this page, as well as the embedded player.
You can customize your live event’s recipient view page by selecting the Player icon on the left-hand panel and then Customize Player. You will be redirected to a new page with all customization options available.
You can choose to show your viewers the playlist of your archived events. You can also autoplay the next video in the playlist within the same recurring event.
You can customize the player's colors from the Customization menu. Scroll down to find all of the options.
Move an existing event in a folder to another folder
- To move a virtual event into another folder or subfolder, select the checkbox next to the live event and click the Move button.
- Select the new folder, then click Confirm.
If you decide to move your Live Event into another folder, all archived videos from that event will remain in the current folder and will not move. If you move the Live Event, archives will not be moved by default. If you want to move the event's archives into that folder, locate them in the folder, select the checkbox next to each video, then select 'Move' above and choose the new folder.
Only team Owners and Admins can delete events entirely from the account.
