This feature is available to Enterprise account owners, admins, and contributors with 'Folder admin' permissions. It is also available to owners and admins on all other paid membership types; contributors on non-Enterprise plans may only move folders within their 'My library' space.
To move a folder to another location:
- Locate the folder you wish to move in either My library or Team library.
- Select the options menu (•••) that corresponds to the folder. This can be found in three places:
- The left side navigation when you hover over the folder name.
- The right side of the folder within the library workspace.
- The upper left corner of the folder page.
- Select Move folder.
- A modal window will open, showing the folders you can move your folder into.
⚠️Note: The locations that appear depend on your role and permissions on the Vimeo account. Contact your account owner or admin if you do not see the location where you wish to move your folder. - Select the destination for your folder, then select Move.
- Your folder and all the content within it, including subfolders, will move to the selected destination. You will see a confirmation message at the bottom of the screen.
