If you add a nonpublic (Password, Hide from Vimeo, or Private) video to a showcase, that video's visibility will depend on the privacy settings of your showcase.
This article discusses the visibility of videos in different types of showcases on Vimeo, including public, password-protected, hide from Vimeo, and private settings.
In this article:
Public showcase
Placing a nonpublic video (Password, Hide from Vimeo, or Private) in a public showcase does not make the video public. Only you will be able to see the video within the showcase.
Password showcase
If you add a nonpublic (Password, Hide from Vimeo, or Private) video to a password-protected showcase, anyone with the password to the showcase will be able to watch it unless the embed privacy setting of the video doesn't allow it to be shown on your showcase's domain. This setting allows you to share groups of nonpublic videos with a specific audience.
Hide from Vimeo showcase
Setting your showcase to Hide from Vimeo will allow you to embed a playlist, but your showcase won't be viewable on Vimeo.com (this setting is best for users only looking to embed their videos).
Private showcase
You can also set your showcase to Private, restricting its content to team members you've added to your account. This setting is useful for sharing internal content within your organization.
