Creating a venue requires an Enterprise account with the Events add-on.
Breakout rooms can be created only after your invited members join the venue. You will not be able to view the option to create a Breakout room unless other members/attendees are present.

How many breakout rooms are possible per session?
Each venue can support a maximum of 100 breakout rooms.
What’s the capacity of each breakout room?
The only limit, for now, is capacity per venue level - 3000. So at the same time up to 3000 users can be present online at once.
Do the facilitators assign the people to the breakout rooms? Can we create before the session and pre-assign people, or is it just during the session, and/ or at random?
Once participants have registered within the venue, they are eligible to be added to a breakout room before the event starts. Refer to How to create Breakout rooms to know more.
You can drag and drop to shift people between rooms. This will update the room panel and update the people search panel. When the breakout room has been opened, you cannot reassign viewers to different breakout rooms.
How big of an audience can we have in the initial room before the breakout?
The only limit, for now, is capacity per venue level - 3000.
How many cameras/mics can be turned on in the initial room before the breakout?
Up to 45 users can have their cam/mic enabled simultaneously, however, Venues users will only see the top 16 at once. The list of 16 updates frequently to promote the most active participants.
I'm trying to figure out which room another attendee is in, how can I find them?
Use the people search feature to search the names of other registered attendees.
When you find the attendee you are looking for, click on their name to view their registration profile. The bottom of the panel will display the name of the venue space they are currently in with an option to Join space if you wish to join them there.
