This article discusses how to effectively utilize the video report feature in the Advanced analytics dashboard on Vimeo to analyze video performance and export data.
⚠️Note: All data in analytics reports are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
- Log in to your Vimeo account and open the Advanced analytics dashboard.
- Select Video from the dashboard menu on the left side of the page to see a graph that will show you the overall views of your videos within the time frame that you have selected.
- Hover over a point on the graph to display a statistical breakdown of up to 10 of your selected videos, with the highest performers displaying first.
- On the video report table below your graph, you will find all of your video data synced from your videos for the selected time frame.
- You can select which videos to include on the graph using the checkboxes in the table. These videos will be displayed in a list while you hover over the video report graph.
- Select the checkbox next to Report Total at the top of the table to display the total of all selected metrics based on the applied filters.
- You can use the View breakdown by dropdown menu to add another dimension to the video report. You will see the following options: date, device, region, source URL, or streaming type.
- Select the Export data button at the top right of the table to export the video analytics as a CSV file.
- The report will be emailed to you once it is ready.
💡Tip: When calculating the Average % Watched for embedded videos, the percentage watched will continue to calculate if viewers scroll away from the video, as long as the video is still being played.
