The Source URL report is available within the Advanced analytics dashboard. Read on to learn how to utilize the Source URL report for your content on Vimeo.
- Log in to your Vimeo account and open the Advanced analytics dashboard.
- Select Source from the dashboard menu on the left side of the page to see a graph that will show you the overall views of your videos by URL source within the time frame that you have selected.
- Hovering over a point on the graph will display a statistical breakdown of up to 10 of your selected sources, with the highest performers displaying first.
- On the Source Report table below your graph, you will find all of your source data synced from your videos for the selected time frame.
- Selecting a source by clicking the checkbox to the left of the region title will add the source URL to the list displayed when hovering over the Source Report graph.
- You can use the Choose secondary dimension dropdown menu to add another dimension to the Source report. You will see the following options: video, date, device, region, or streaming type.
- Select the Download button at the top right of the table to export the report as CSV file.
💡Tip: If you notice that one row doesn't display a page URL but instead just a forward slash (/), this is usually because the referrer policy of the page with the embed is not permissive enough to send the full referrer.
