We have started migrating Plus and Pro users to total storage in lieu of weekly quota. You can check your plan’s storage using the tracker in the lower left-hand corner of your account’s home page, library, or video upload page.
Not all methods of adding videos to your account will count against your weekly quota, video usage, or total storage allowance. Which allowance type you have varies depending on which plan your account is on. This article will outline which types of video content count towards the video limit and what does not depending on what type of storage allowance your plan has.
You can verify how your account measures video limitations by checking your account settings or the tracker in the lower left-hand corner of your library.
Weekly upload quota (some Plus and Pro accounts)
- Uploading a new video: Yes
- Making a video in the editor: No
- Recording a video: No
-
Replacing a video: Yes, with caveats:
-
Plus: When you replace a video, the previous version of that video is deleted. Only the difference in the source file sizes will count against your weekly quota.
- ⚠️Note for Plus: If you uploaded a video during your previous weekly cycle and then try to replace that video in the current week, it will be considered as a new video and storage will be used from the current week.
- Pro: Because the previous version of the video remains stored, the full size of the replacement file does count against the current weekly quota.
-
Plus: When you replace a video, the previous version of that video is deleted. Only the difference in the source file sizes will count against your weekly quota.
