At Vimeo, we take the safety, dignity, and privacy of our community seriously. Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII), including AI-generated or manipulated intimate content, has no place on Vimeo, and we are committed to acting quickly and responsibly when this content is reported to us.
The TAKE IT DOWN Act is a U.S. law that addresses the publication of NCII, including certain AI-generated intimate visual depictions. This may include sexually explicit photos or videos uploaded or shared without the consent of the person shown, including private content later posted more broadly or explicit content created without their knowledge. Consent around intimate content may be limited. An individual who agreed to create or privately share an image or video may not have agreed for it to be posted or redistributed.
To facilitate prompt removal of NCII in accordance with the TAKE IT DOWN Act, Vimeo is using this Reporting Form, which allows you or your authorized representatives to report NCII. Valid reports submitted through this process are reviewed and removed in accordance with Take It Down Act requirements and Vimeo's content removal policies. If the content doesn't meet the definition of NCII it may still violate local laws or Vimeo's policies, and we may remove the content in accordance with such policies.
Vimeo is also committed to preventing the re-upload and redistribution of this material and employs technical measures designed to help identify and block copies of previously reported NCII.
