Event broadcasters can turn on live reactions so the audience can react in real time with emojis that appear over the video. Reactions add a lightweight way for viewers to show support during a live event, without leaving a comment in chat.
Note: Live reactions are free and available by default for all events owned by Custom or Enterprise users.
How to enable live reactions
- Open your live event in the web-based production tool.
- In the sidebar, open the Engagement menu.
- Turn on live reactions for the event.
How viewers react
Viewers who have logged in or provided a name for interactive features can react during the event using emojis. Reactions appear as an overlay on the live event.
Live reactions also work for events you stream over RTMP.
