Our existing payment integration on the platform is not available in all countries. In order for our platform to open support within more countries, we now offer OTT using Stripe Standard Connect. You will find below how Seller experience will vary between Stripe Standard Connect and our default payment processor.
Onboarding
You will still need to first Join on Vimeo OTT and select the country your business is registered in. Once you have completed filling out preliminary information about your business and your bank details, you can select Complete Payout Set up.
You’ll notice there’s an additional action item required at the top of your payout page. Click Go To Stripe to finalize the verification process; this will redirect you to Stripe’s onboarding form.
With Standard Connect, you can change your business and bank information at any time on your own by logging into your Stripe account and going to Business details.

Customer (Subscribers/ Viewers) Support
When you use Vimeo OTT to sell your video content, we've got your back on customer support. We strive to reply and help your customers as quickly and effectively as we can. A customer will wait no longer than 24 hours for a reply from the Vimeo OTT support staff for technical support.
With Standard Connect, you now can provide direct support for any billing issues that come up.
Our team is here to help with the first touch and then we will forward them directly to your preferred support email for billing issues only.
Payouts & Fees
You will receive daily payouts when your customers purchase from your site. Vimeo does not hold any funds, however, Stripe will withhold processing fees from customer purchases. You can review those fees here.
Given that Vimeo does not issue payouts for Standard, our fees are deducted differently:

If you have any issues with your payout, please contact Stripe Support.
Chargebacks
With Standard, you are able to manage any disputes that come up on your Stripe dashboard. Vimeo does not handle chargebacks on your behalf.
Any fees or withholding of funds associated with a dispute may be deducted from your sales.
Taxes
Vimeo will not calculate, withhold, or remit sales tax on customer purchases. It will be imperative for you to work with a tax professional in your country to understand and meet your tax obligations.
Vimeo is unable to provide tax consultation.
Subscription and Transaction Analytics
Your subscriber analytics will be reflected on the main OTT Dashboard page and the Subscriber report however transactional (TVOD) purchases will not appear on the Buy & Rent report. To track your Purchase/Rental transactions, you will need to check the Customer CSV.
