You can change the appearance of some pages on the Vimeo website by switching to dark mode for an alternative viewing and editing experience. This article explains how to activate dark mode for your account.
In this article:
What to know before activating dark mode
Before you change your appearance settings, take note of the following:
- Dark mode shows supported pages with a dark background and light text. Light mode shows a white background with dark text.
-
Supported pages: Dark mode is currently only available on the video upload page, the video editor, and private video recipient view pages.
- Unsupported pages, such as the accounts settings page, will default to light mode.
- If you are a member of a team or workspace, your setting will not impact the view settings for other team members.
- Your selected mode will remain the default for all supported pages.
