How do I upload custom fonts in the video editor?

The feature discussed below requires a Standard, Advanced, Business, Premium, or Enterprise account.

Team members can upload and manage brand fonts for all team members to use via the Brand Kit in the video editor. Upload permissions are based on the type of account that you are a team member of. 

• Enterprise: Contributor Plus, Owner, or Admins can upload and delete custom fonts. 
• Standard, Advanced, Business, or Premium: Contributors, Owners, and Admins can upload and delete fonts. 

⚠️ Note: By uploading a font file, you confirm that you own the font or have obtained all necessary licenses to use and incorporate it into a video as required by our Terms of Service.

To upload a custom font: 

1. In the video editor, select the Brand button on the left-side panel to open the Brand Kit. 
2. In the Brand Kit, select the arrow next to Fonts.
3. Select + Add Brand Font.
4. Select the Upload button at the bottom of the font list.
5. Agree to the font submission terms.
6. Select the font file (.ttf or .otf) from your device.
7. Once uploaded, the font can be selected from the Brand Kit or the text inspector toolbar's font menu.

To select an existing font as a brand font: 

1. In the video editor, select the Brand button on the left-side panel to open the Brand Kit. 
2. In the Brand Kit, select the arrow next to Fonts.
3. Select + Add Brand Font.
4. Scroll through the list of available fonts. 
5. When you find a font you would like to use as a brand font, hover over the font name to display a circle with a plus sign in the middle. Select to add to brand fonts. 

To delete a brand font

To delete the font from your brand fonts, hover over the selected font in the Brand Fonts menu and select the Trash icon to the right.
