This feature requires a Vimeo Enterprise account with the Events feature added.
When someone registers for your webinar, Vimeo can automatically send confirmation, reminder, and follow-up emails. You can customize each event's email branding and reminder schedule.
Customize webinar emails
Open your live event and select Registration > Customize emails > Email > General. Set the sender name, logo, and accent color for that event. If you do not customize an event, it uses your account's default branding. Duplicating an event preserves its branding.
Magic Links
Each registrant receives a personal join link in confirmation and reminder emails. Selecting the link takes them directly to the event without requiring them to sign in again. The link also appears in supported calendar entries and can be used in supported CRM communications through the Vimeo Event Join Link field.
Magic Links use a first-party cookie, so they continue to work when third-party cookies are blocked. They expire automatically after the event. Embedded webinars do not support Magic Links; returning registrants must sign in manually.
Customize reminder emails
From Registration > Customize emails > Email, add, remove, or change reminder emails. Choose 1 hour, 15 minutes, 3 days, or 7 days before the event, or choose Custom range. Custom reminders can be scheduled from 1–59 minutes, 1–23 hours, or 1–90 days before the event. A webinar can have up to 10 reminders, with no more than one reminder at the same interval. The 1-day reminder is enabled by default.
Confirmation emails for API registrations
For events owned by Enterprise or Custom accounts, registrants added through the API can receive a confirmation email when Registration confirmation is enabled in the Confirmation email tab. Bulk API imports, CRM imports, and CSV imports do not send confirmation emails.
Other email settings
You can customize subjects, message text, calendar links, footer information, and the event button. If you use a custom button destination instead of the Vimeo link, attendees must sign in first.
