How to search Vimeo
To search all of Vimeo, you can use this link: https://vimeo.com/search or you can start searching from your Vimeo account once you have logged in. Select the search bar or the magnifying glass at the top of the screen to get started.
How to switch between searching your Library or all of Vimeo
Select the icon to the left of the search bar to switch between searching your Library or all of Vimeo.
If the stacked player icon is selected, you are searching your own Library. If the globe icon is selected, your search results will contain all public videos on Vimeo.
⚠️Note: In some regions, the option to search all of Vimeo is not available.
How to navigate the Vimeo search results page
The results page displays video thumbnails, highlighting their titles, creators, and view counts with a range of filtering options. The panel to the right of the thumbnails contains filters to help you find the content you are looking for, including videos, channels, groups, and users.
The following filters are available to the right when searching Vimeo:
- Type
- Category
- Duration
- Date uploaded
- Resolution
- HDR
- License
- Vimeo collections
- Vimeo 360
- Live events
- Price
You may select the Mature content button to choose what types of videos you do and do not want to see on Vimeo. Learn more about what constitutes mature content at Content ratings.
Above the thumbnails to the right, you will see the Sort by dropdown.
Use the Sort by filter to sort results by the following:
- Relevance
- Recently uploaded
- Most popular
- Title (A-Z)
- Title (Z-A)
- Longest
- Shortest
