AppsFlyer is a third-party tool that helps you track your marketing campaigns to better attribute referrals and conversions made via your branded apps and analyze the data inside your AppsFlyer account.

Supported Devices
The AppsFlyer integration is supported on the following OTT branded app platforms running version 8.4 and higher.
⚠️Note: AppsFlyer is not supported natively on the web.
Mobile
- iOS
- Android
- Fire Tablet
CTV
- tvOS
- Android TV
- Amazon Fire TV
- Roku
⚠️Note: AppsFlyer’s Web SDK is not natively supported by OTT. Tizen, XBOX, LG & VIZIO Apps do not natively support AppsFlyer, but those sites with Segment enabled can send data to AppsFlyer via a Segment Connection.
How to enable this integration
To utilize this integration, your organization will need an account on Vimeo OTT with branded apps as well as an account with AppsFlyer.
You can sign up for an AppsFlyer account through this page.
- Log in to your AppsFlyer Account.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions at Adding an app to AppsFlyer to add apps for each of your corresponding Vimeo OTT-powered apps.
- If your apps are already live, you will need to input the app store listing URLs for each platform. You can get the URLs by visiting your OTT Admin and selecting Manage > Platforms.
Then, select the Live button corresponding to each platform. This will open the store listing for the platform.
Copy the store listing URL and paste it into the AppsFlyer admin’s app configuration.
If your apps are not yet live, reach out to your Account Manager, and they will be able to provide you with the required values to input into AppsFlyer for each app. - Click on App Settings in the sidebar.
- Copy the Dev key for each platform and send this to your Account Manager. You may find that AppsFlyer provides you with the same Dev key for each platform, or they can differ, depending on your specific configuration.
- Vimeo’s apps team will rebuild your apps, and data will start flowing into your AppsFlyer account.
Enabling OneLink deep linking
Deep linking enables personalized user experiences by directing users to specific in-app content or pages based on their previous interactions or marketing campaigns. AppsFlyer facilitates deep linking to improve user engagement and retention, and calls this feature OneLink, which is supported in OTT’s Mobile Branded Apps.
Before you begin creating OneLink deep linking, you’ll need to create a OneLink template in your AppsFlyer account. You can contact the AppsFlyer Team for support.
Once you have created your OneLink Template, you will need to provide the Vimeo Team with the following items to enable support with your OTT Branded Apps:
- OneLink Subdomain (Required)
- OneLink Branded Domain (Recommended)

Vimeo OTT will send data over to the AppsFlyer account once connected; below, you will find a breakdown of the events sent from the integration. You can readthe AppsFlyer-provided help center docs here to better understand how to analyze this data.
