You can share a Vimeo video directly from your mobile browser without using the Vimeo app. This method allows you to copy the video link or share it using your device’s built-in sharing tools (such as Messages, Mail, or social apps).

Before you begin

• You do not need to be logged in to share a public video.
• Private or password-protected videos can only be shared if you have access to them and if sharing is allowed in the video's privacy settings.

Steps to share a Vimeo video via mobile web 

1. Open your mobile browser and go to vimeo.com.
2. Locate the video you want to share.
3. Once the video loads, tap the Share icon.
4. A share menu will open with available options:

• Copy Link: Copies the video’s URL to your clipboard.
• Share via: Opens your device’s native share options (e.g., WhatsApp, Messages, Mail, AirDrop, etc.).

Choose your preferred method and complete the share using your selected app or tool.

Notes on privacy settings

• If the video is set to private or password protected, recipients must have permission or the correct password to view it.
• If you are the video owner, ensure your privacy settings allow sharing before sending the link.
