What to know before using the Brand Kits
Before you begin, keep the following in mind:
- The Brand Kits are available at both the account level and team level.
- You can now create and manage multiple brand kits per team or workspace.
- For Enterprise accounts that have workspaces enabled, a parent brand kit can be defined at the account level and inherited by all workspaces.
- The Brand Kits connect to several areas across Vimeo:
- Player appearance
- Registration forms
- Showcases
- Video tools include Live, Record, Editor, and Simplified Interactive Editor.
- Brand kits include logos and colors.
- Permissions to manage brand kits are available to Admins and Owners.
How to use the Brand Kits
Follow these steps to use the kits:
- Navigate to Manage Workspace via your avatar drop-down.
- Select the Brand kits from the left panel.
- Navigate from Brand kits > Your Default Brand kit.
⚠️ Note: New users or those who haven't previously used player logos will not see Your Default Brand Kit. In this case, you will need to create a New brand kit to get started. - Select and upload your logo and colors.
- You can rename or delete previously created logos and colors from the three-dot menu at the bottom.
How to use the Brand Kits in player appearance
To use the Brand Kits to modify the appearance of your player:
- Select your video, and click on Appearance from the left menu.
- Switch between the Embed and Video page at the top to customize each view.
- From the Branding section, choose and apply your brand colors and logo.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
