You can share a link to a chapter of your video so that the recipient can begin playback at the most relevant part of the video. Follow these steps to share a chapter:
- Go to your Library and select the video to open the video page.
- Select the chapter icon on the bottom right of the player.
- Select the link icon next to the chapter title that you would like to share.
- The link will be copied to your clipboard. You can then share this link with the recipient.
- Video playback will begin at the beginning of the shared chapter. In the example below, the last chapter was shared:
Additional information
- If your video privacy is set to Hide from Vimeo, chapter links will not function. Viewers who access a link to a chapter will see an error message.
- It is not possible to disable chapter sharing, however, you may hide chapters from viewers by going to Player > Controls > toggle off Chapters on the video page. Learn more at Customize the video player.
